Please Be Mindful of My Time

I do not really understand why people don't understand that time is one of those things that you just cannot get back.
People will waste the life out of your time but in the same breath want you to give care for theirs. I have dealt with a whole lot of inconsiderate people when it comes to my time. People will say that they care about you and want you to be a part of their lives but don't make time for you. Then get upset when you don't have anything to say to them or don't make time to be a part of their lives any longer. Then when they hear from you here comes the, "hey stranger". Now, I am the one acting different or distant. What about your actions? You have to realize that people will react to the situation presented to them. Time is important and if you aren't serious about being a significant part of my life then do not waste my time.
People will make time for those things they want to do. A person is never too busy for what and who they want to make time for. If you aren't making room for someone you say you care about in your life and aren't providing the time, space and opportunity to chill, then don't get frustrated when that person becomes uninterested in spending any time with you.
Why isn't my time just as important as your time? Is my time not as valuable as your time?
Be mindful of my time.
Stop wasting my time.
I saw a post on IG the other day that read: Don't be someone's downtime,
spare-time,
part-time, or
sometime.
If they can't be there for you all the time, they're not even worth your time.
This post hit me hard because I always seem to find the time for folks and they can't for the life of them find the time for me. The only edit to the post that I would make would be, if they can't be there for you all the time, within reason, they're not even worth your time.
I add within reason because let's be honest, you cannot be there for someone all the damn time. However, I am talking about the folks who just always keep leaving you hanging. You hit them up, they take so much time to reply to your text. Now let you pull them on them and do the same thing, oh now they want to hit you up with a, "you must be busy". Like, come on now.
Then don't let you always be there for them when they are going through life. You are the friend who is always there, no matter what, you pick up the phone when they call, no matter what time they call, you show up when they need your help, all the time, not some of the time, you have their back 100%. But let you be going through something one time, you have to nearly beg them to acknowledge your text and call them multiple times before they even answer.
How hard is it to treat folks the way you want to be treated, unless how you want to be treated is like trash, then I don't need those kinds of people in my life. What I go through is just as important as what you are going through. My life is just as busy if not way busier than yours and yet I still find the time, make time, for you. Where is the mutual respect, where is the common courtesy?
This goes for all types of relationships outside of my family.
This isn't anything new. I have been experiencing this, especially as an amazing friend for years.
The Bible says, "To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."(Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
It doesn't say a time to waste.
I, like you, don't have any time to waste.
I, like you, can't get my time back.
I, like you, value my time.
Be mindful of my time, please.
Stop wasting my time, please.
