When you can’t sleep, count sheep
But the sheep don’t appear
The echoing of your name
Is the only thing I hear
In my mind, as if my brain
Vanishes, leaving an open space
Throughout the village of mountains
I hear the echo and in the snow I see your face
When you can’t sleep, count sheep
Still the sheep aren’t in sight
The fire in my mind that burns for you
During sleep, once again ignites
Toss and turn in restless sleep
To get close to you, I sometimes walk

Sounds of summer’s sweet sensation
As the flowers come into bloom
Crisp smell of freshly baking apples
An aroma that fills the room
Laughter captures the air enclosing
An undeniable field of dreams
Awaken by undeniable enraging
Happiness for nothing is as it seems
Voices calm and collective
Cool as a season’s breeze
Walking alongside God’s creation
Splendid and serene
Crimson tides romantically beat
Upon the enormous earthly rocks
A musical rhythm as slow as a heart’s beat
Yet as hypnotic as the tick of the old grandfather clock
Children at play alongside the seashore
As the movement commence to cease
Silence entangles the heart
