My gift makes room for me and brings me before great men.
This is one of my favorite scriptures. I meditate on this one daily.
I believe that God has made room for me in His Kingdom and He has kept me here for a purpose. The gifts and talents that I have are placing me at the right place, at the right time, with the right people. The gift that I have with being a multifaceted writer is bringing me before millions of great people.
I am confident. I am powerful. I am enough. I own my gift.
A few years ago I didn't own my gift or believe in the power that I held in my mind that flowed through my pen to paper or out my mouth. Sharing ones gift is about believing in ones self.
It doesn't matter how many people believe in you or your dream. It doesn't matter how many times a person tells you they believe in you or something nice about yourself. If you don't believe in you or your dream, then what's the point. You cannot expect others to follow something you don't even believe in. Understand that your gift makes room for you and to me this means that God has given everyone certain gifts and talents that are meant to be used in fulfilling His purpose. We are to serve God by serving others through the utilization of the spreading of His word through the gifts and talents that He has given us. It is very important to me to accept my gift and make it better and better with each day that passes by. It is an insult to God to let my gift go to waste.
One of the biggest challenges I feel that people face isn't being motivated. It is getting motivated and being able to stay motivated. The enemy will have you believe that you aren't important. The enemy will have you to believe that your life doesn't matter and what God has been saying to you about your gift, isn't true. The enemy will demotivate you and make you not feel like fulfilling your purpose for your life. The enemy will make you question your life and leave you feeling inferior.
I have struggled greatly throughout the past years maintaining my focus and my motivation. What I realized is that the entire time, I was allowing the enemy to place multiple distractions (people) in my way of doing what it is that I was purposed to do. I became distracted from writing. I would get into relationship after relationship and lose my focus which in turn caused me to lose my control on my own life and lose my faith in myself.
It is a shame that a lot of people do not want to see you succeed. It is a downright disgrace that people whom you love and adore would rather have you stuck in the quicksand of there unhappy miserable life. But what is even more of a disgrace is that the whispering of the enemy in your ear will have you believing that you are supposed to be living a life of mediocrity instead of prosperity. That you are to sink instead of swim. That you are supposed to be connected to others who won't even take the time to own their own gifts and make better what talents God has given them. They will have you believe that you aren't good enough. That you aren't strong enough. That you aren't enough period.
It is truly sad that everyday people fall for the deception of the enemy, instead of trusting the Power of the Lord. I have been there myself.
I come to you today as a woman who formerly possessed a victim mentality. I come to you today as a woman who now encompasses a victor mentality. I am the victor, for I have the victory. You can have victory too!
It starts with Love. God is love.
Love yourself. I'll say it again, love yourself. You cannot love others unless you first love yourself. Love God, love yourself, then you can in return love others. Take care of yourself. Treat your own self the way you want others to treat you. Learn your gift. Focus on your gift.
Don't allow others to dim your light. You were made in the image of the Almighty. Shine bright honey. You deserve it. Be blessed and remember that God loves you!
Own your gift and don't be afraid to use and succeed with your gift.
