The Things We Allow (Karma)

Often times I find myself asking God, what did I do to deserve this? This right here. This situation right here. Often times, when I ask God this question, the majority of the time, it isn't about something good that is happening to me.
You will hear people say, God why did you let this happen? When in reality, you should be asking yourself, why did I allow this to keep happening? The things we allow, the things we tolerate are the very same things that we complain about on a day to day basis. Instead of doing something about it, we choose to complain about it. I am so sick and tired of complaining about other people whom I have no control over whatsoever. We can choose to deal or not deal with people who cause us strife. So why is it that we, more than not, choose to be with people who aren't worth our time?
How do you expect God to bless a mess that God himself closed the door on years ago? Now here you are reopening the door thinking that things are supposed to be better than before. God isn't going to let that relationship be great silly, He told you to let it go. And here you are picking it back up praying for better. Did you forget that you asked God to show you a sign and He showed you a million signs and you still trying to be great with someone who isn't great for you.
I will not deny that I have asked God many a times to show me signs and just as soon as He showed me the signs, I'd ignore them. I can't be the only one who does this. Why do we do this? Why do we ask for something, get it, then ignore it? I promise you I don't want to be this type of person any longer. I tend to attract the wrong type of people to be in a relationship with and they always are the same type of people to some varying degree, to hear my mother tell it.
Remember: God won't bless no mess.
Relationships take time, emotions and energy to be invested. Time, emotions and energy are things that once gone, you can't get back. I tried to rekindle a relationship and it just didn't work. Once again, my time, emotions and energy were wasted. I have learned that once you let something or someone go, you should not go back down that road because it ended for a reason. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the past should just stay there, in the past. You can't save everybody, because everybody don' t want to be or deserve to be saved.
I told my best friend that I feel like I did something to deserve the things I am going through. She replied, how do you know the lesson isn't for the both of you? I had to pause on that one right there. How do I know the lesson isn't for the both of us? I don't know. I just know that I believe what goes around, comes back around just like a boomerang. I can't help but believe in karma.
Be careful what you put out there in the universe, especially if it is negative, because it will come back on you. You won't know when and you won't know where in life you will be, but know that it will come back on your life.
If you know that you can be greater than your situation, be greater. If you know that you deserve the best, you have to be the best. Never let another person manipulate you to feel inferior to another person. God didn't put you here to be mediocre so why are you being just that? If greater is He that is in you, then be greater than he that is in this world! I have talked enough talk, it is time that I walk the gracious walk. The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? Whom shall I be afraid? There is nothing to fear with God on my side. These people should fear me with God on my side.
Quit sitting there crying over a lost cause. People who tell you that it is your loss and their gain are some of the most selfish-est people. You are only making yourself to be the lost cause when God made you better than that. I am a winner. I am the righteousness of God. I am a victor and not a victim. I am the head and not the tail. I am a lender and not a borrower. So, I know my place, I know my worth. Sad thing is, you don't know your place because you are so ungrateful with what God has blessed you with. Talking to the people who were blessed with a million and one second chances and waste every chance they get. I always wondered how evil people can be so blessed, then I was reminded that God forgives all who has sinned. Our God doesn't count pass two. If you ask to be forgiven, you are. However, I believe that some folks just take advantage of God just as they do the people in their lives.
If I have all the power and I have all the control, don't you think it time I start putting my power and control to greater use? The things that we allow could be so much worse, and I am so happy and grateful to God that they aren't. I am so happy and grateful to God that my best is yet to come and my what's next is going to blow my mind!
First, I have to stop myself. I have to silence my mouth and mind and think: Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world. I have to remember to be grateful for all that God has blessed me with, my past, my present and my future. I have to remember to be grateful for every lesson from all He has placed in my life. I thank God for putting me in the right place, at the right time, with the right people. I choose what happens next with me in any situation. Me. Not you, not him not her, me. I choose to be happier than I've ever been before. I choose to ignore what other people negatively say about me. Other people's perception of me is none of my business. Your perception of me is a draft that is very rough. I am deaf to the negative things anyone has to say about me. God has the final say and my final story is written and waiting for me to be my best self. There is nothing holding me back. I am more than a conqueror!
Don't allow the things that you allow, to change who God made you to be. Take back your power and own it. I am better than this situation.
