God creates through the use of my imagination. God serves the world through the use of my imagination! I believe that In order to be mentally free, financially free, physically free and sexually free, you first have to be spiritually free. God comes before all things. You have to live in accordance to His word.

Let Me be the first to tell you that I am not the authority on all things God, but I am the authority on all things me, and with that being said, all things me doesn't exist without all things Him! I have a very strong belief that along this walk of life, this journey, the ups and downs the good and bad, the walk is better suited walking with the Lord in His Favor. In everything we do, we must give honor and glory and thanks to God. We must magnify and glorify His Holy name.

For years, I was so focused on others and how they felt about me and not at all concerned about myself and how God felt about me. It greatly affected my life at times to where I would pour more energy into others and relationships and not have any energy left for myself. I lost myself. I couldn't find motivation to write, motivation to invest in myself and the plans that He had for me. Ignoring and blocking my own blessings. I became so wrapped up in

what I didn't have or where I wasn't in my life. I was wrapped up in pleasing other people. I needed guidance.

I asked God to give me a clean heart. I asked Him to allow my thoughts to flow with only positivity. And in asking Him of these things, I realized in order for me to be granted a clean heart and a mind that flowed with nothing but positivity, I had to first have an attitude of gratitude. I had to be thankful for what I already had in life. I had to be grateful for what I already accomplished in life. Basically, what was already done in my life. I could not focus on what I thought I should have or where I envisioned I should be. I realized I couldn't save everyone nor fight everyone else’s battles. I had to learn that the battle is not mine but the Lord, that I can do all things through Christ who continues to strengthen me each and every day.

I had to learn to focus on the positive and to be grateful for what I have presently, before what I have now becomes what I had. I had to appreciate every aspect of my life in my past, present and future for it is already done. I had to refocus my mind to do what I can do and know that God will do what I cannot do. God has a plan for me. Great things come to me easily and frequently and in all kinds of ways. It all begins and ends with faith in God and all He has already done for me. God has a great plan for you and your life as well.

So, What does it mean to be spiritually free?

It means to be free from one's self. Free from one's own self destructive thinking. To align your thinking with that of God's. Minister Ineda Adesanya of Pastor Allen Temple once said, "One way to journey toward spiritual freedom is to live as authentically as we can. God gifts each of us with our own set of unique skills and abilities so that He can use us in the manifestation of His will in this world. God’s will is gleaned most clearly in His greatest command; to love God and to love your neighbor". I will also add, to love you. Because in all honesty, through my many life experiences, I have learned that one cannot love others if he or she does not love himself or herself.

There was a time that I did not love myself. Yes, I did not love myself. How could I possibly love me if I kept allowing others to use and abuse me physically, verbally and emotionally. There was a time where I loved people I was in relationships with as well as friends, more than I loved my own self. We have to love ourselves. Love God, love your neighbor and love yourself.

How do you become spiritually free?

By knowing that is takes dedications to work and strength to be spiritually free. Daily prayer, meditation, positive affirmations and gratitude are the keys to a happy and successful life of spiritual freedom. Wake up every morning with the understanding that today is the day that the Lord has made. You are indeed blessed to see today. How you start your day shapes your entire day. One small positive thought when you rise to grind and shine will allow your day to be positive. It is up to you to maintain that positive mindset. It is up to you to be grateful and spread the love of a prosperously positive lifestyle. Learn how to take the negativity of the world today and shine your positive light upon it.

You will be successful. You will live a life full of abundance. If you, hold on to faith. If you, relinquish the fear of failure. If you, don't be afraid to try something new. All you have to do is Step out on faith! God is with you. And if God is with you, who can be against you? Take each day one step and one day at a time. One great day builds habits of day after day of great days. Once you master living one great day at a time, you will see that life becomes easier and you will look up and see days, weeks, months and years of happiness coming to pass.

Too many times, I've been sad. I've hurt myself, too many times. I've contemplated suicide, when the only thing that kept me from following through was the thought of my

two children and how their lives would be greatly affected without me. I have written about my insurmountable pain. I have Written about that emotion as well as other emotions in both my poetry books. "Words one can't describe" and "More than a Title". Plenty of days I would wake up and not even know why I did, wake up. I was left with the thinking, "was I really created to be mistreated this way"? I had to go through many trials and tribulations. I had to shed rivers of tears, not understanding why my life was the way it was and how was it that I kept meeting people, people who I let control my mind. I became afraid of looking at myself in the mirror, fearful that I didn't and wouldn't recognize the reflection of the woman that I would see. I had to go through all that I had to go through to get to this point. To get to this realization that God has a purpose for me here on earth.

I decided to be happy instead of sad. I decided to live instead of to die. I decided to wake up every day with purpose knowing why I am a survivor and why I'll always continue to survive! I decided to stop crying and to actually start living my life on purpose and with purpose. I asked God to give me another chance. And guess what, He did. Today I choose happiness. Today I choose to love. I choose to start my day with gratefulness and a grateful heart. I

choose to think, do and be positive. Today I choose to be spiritually free.

So I am telling you to put your best foot forward. You have to stop talking about what you would like to do and actually start doing it. The time is now. Time is not going to wait for you or me. You have to map out a design to start fulfilling the goals inside of your head. Let your mind expand to match your goals. Make it a passion and an absolute must that you do something each and every day that you rise, to move you closer to your purpose. If you don't know your purpose, ask God. Don't be afraid to speak to Him. Everything that has happened, that is happening, that is going to happen in your life has already been written out. I am a strong believer of that. We have to want better in our lives. We have to quit settling for mediocrity. We have to desire the change that we want to see in this world. Be that change!

Change is done by manifesting and putting out into the universe what we want our lives to be. We have to be a blessing to others without expecting anything in return. Just as Jesus did. That's why every day I pray. Every day I meditate. Every day I recite a list of affirmations. Every day I am thankful. I can look at my vision board right now and see some of my dreams being manifested.

I keep accomplishing more and more of my goals on a daily basis. I am so happy and grateful that every new day I get better in every way. I can now look into the mirror and see the woman that I know I was destined to be. I am no longer afraid. I am fearless. And that makes me POWERFUL! I am confident. I am powerful. I am enough!
