IT IS NOT THE END!

When a relationship comes to the end, many people think that it is the end of life as they know it. They feel as though it is the end of the road. They feel like life has just given up on them simply because someone else has. I am here to say that it is not the end of the road, it is the beginning. It is the beginning of the first day of the best day of the rest of your life. Things could be worse than they are now and that is what people have to realize. It isn't the end of the road; it is the end of a season, your season with someone.

We always hear that saying, people come into your life for a reason or a season. Well it is true. Only God knows the real reason or season someone has in your life. We hope and we pray that it will all last forever, but what if these people were just created to be that person to teach you a lesson about yourself that you have to use to grow? We have to keep looking at the glass as half full instead of half empty. We have to find the brighter side of a dark situation. God doesn't make any mistakes. We have to take these lessons and grow.

We all know that you can't love someone it you don't love yourself first right? So we also must know that we can't make others happy if we first aren't happy ourselves or with ourselves. We get into these relationships losing sight firsthand of ourselves. We feel that because someone loves us for the moment in our lives that if it were to all end, that means no one no longer loves us. We can't live in life with this notion. God loves us. We have to know that life goes on. Yes, life does go on without these people. We have to have faith in God and His plan for our lives. We have to know that every single thing happens for a reason. We have to know and believe and trust in ourselves to let go and let God do what He has planned for us, for you. God is in control. You cannot hold on to something that God Himself is trying to tear apart. Don't lose sight of the good that people have brought into your life. Don't focus on the bad that is going on with them in this moment of time. Instead, focus on the good. And inside of the good you will find the lesson that was meant for you to learn. Ask God for clarity on the situation at hand and the lesson that has come about your dealings with others and relationships to get a better understanding of said lesson. It is not the end.

I've spent many times in my life loving people more than I've loved myself. I've spent long nights trying to figure out how to make another grown person not give up on me. Sometimes, it is impossible to make others stay in faith of you because they aren't in faith of themselves. They can't motivate you because they can't motivate themselves. They can't love you properly because they aren't able to provide the love that they need for themselves. What can we do? Because it just isn't fair to put so much time and effort into another human being just to have them give up on you. You are in fact their number one supporter, and they were yours...and now they want to be done. What happens to the love? Where does it go? It doesn't go away just because they become unsure of you. You don't love them any less nor should you support them any less. Life has its ups and its down. The thing that we must see here is that, things could be a whole lot worse. It's not the end. Go on with your life. Fight for your purpose. Make yourself better than you were before. Focus on yourself. And if it is meant to be...it will be. Sometimes we have to let go of love, and if it comes back to us, we know that it was meant for us. Maybe just maybe right now is not the time. Give it time. It may come back to you even better than before. Let go and let God work on you. It is not the end, it is the beginning. The beginning of the best days of the rest of your life.
