Use to want to crash into another

Like a wave upon the sandy shore

To have my love scatter like seashells

Across the open beach of my life

Leaving behind footprints of promises

Broken down and erased by warm water

Cold to the touch now hands

That used to warm my heart

Memories echo in my mind near and far

As the bold seagulls

Diving in to fetch and catch the food

From the unexpected man

Unlike those irritatingly annoying birds

I no longer desire to crash

My need to force things has withered away

Like a flower at season's change

I no longer force things

The energy that I have left

The time that I have been given

Won't tolerate me to entertain

Anyone that's not meant for me

What's designed to crash will always crash

And well, what's created for me shall flow

Like the ignited words of imagination

That flourish from my thoughts

To my pen

Unto elegant writing paper

I cannot force a poem

No more than I can force

A relationship

What flows flows

From here on out

For me now goes

I'll let it flow
