While I was sitting back there
In the back of the room
He saw me sitting at a window
Staring out the window
The house was empty
I was looking out
I was expecting
Hopelessly sitting
Watching people move about
With hope
While life was passing me by
Alone in this place
I hear him say
You are in this place
Oh, but God
God's great rising
Is going to bring me out
Allowed time to go by waiting
God said I have too much
To live for
He said stop living in regrets
Greatness
I am incredible
A year old prophesy
Has guided me
Here
To this place called
My what's next
At times it is as clear
As crystal
At times it is as murky
As muddy water
My footsteps are ordered
Setbacks
Setups
Comebacks
Gaining permission
Focus
Move forward
Moving in a forward position
If only I could forget the bad
Gain wisdom from the past
Erase all of the sad
If only I could live for my laugh
Everything has happened for a reason
Way too many years waiting
Happy days await
Joyful days await
Peaceful days await
This indeed is my fate
For this is what was spoken
Spoken over my life that day
As the Prophetic Surge
Entered through my feet
Traveled up my leg
Slithered up my thigh
Shimmied up my back
Crawled up my neck
Gaining passage to my mind
His hand against my head
Laid me out upon the floor
Shedding tears of joy
Renewing my mind
My mind is renewed
By the Word of God
The best is yet to come
