There is a diabolically ruthless fear gripping many around the world

With the idea of not knowing what's going to happen next

The flickering flutter of the butterflies that reside inside the stomach

Shifts the emotions up and down and down around like a rollercoaster

Around the planet, many have pulled their seats up close and personal

To the televised movie screens of the half-informed and uneducated media news outlets

Dishing out misinformation in a mad dash race to the finish line of TV ratings' victory

Shutting off their minds and turning on social media as a full-time pastime

Watching this pandemic unfold like a million-mile moldy ass leathally infected ass blanket

A hole filled blanket that is covering the eyes and minds of all that will watch and listen

From the tragic loss of lives and hospitalizations

The rate of unemployment is at a record high

Businesses and schools closing indefinitely

Senior year must-haves such as class trips, proms, and graduation postponement

Social distancing and staying 6 feet apart

Shortages, curfews, quarantine, and now sheltering in place

To the sadness of the reality of living the norms of indefinitely

Someone, please tell me how does a roll of toilet paper play an essential role

Allowing the negative energy of the masses to cast a shadow over the power of prayer

The enemy whose name we all know at this point in this piece shall remain nameless

I refuse to give this twisted infectious diseased demon any more power

They say what one focuses on multiplies and increases

I challenge all to decrease the focus from the rulers of the darkness of this world

Don't you know energy goes where energy flows

Fixate and expand your mental capacity on God's Word that is like a medicine

A healing elixir that should be taken at least 3 times daily

Though I choose to meditate on His Word throughout my entire day daily

For after all this destruction is said and done

After the devil has done had his fun

We will come out of this thing here survivors

Victoriously better than before

Giving God all the glory for He has won

We overcome

But first, we must praise

Allowing your praise to not be because of what you are going through

However, due to the unwavering faith that you are coming out of this

After the smoke has cleared like in a five-alarm fire scorching through a building

After the storm has cleared like in a hurricane demolishing an entire city

We will come out stronger than strong

Knowing that before and after this, God is number one

Keep your faith, continue to pray and never give up

We are victors not victims

Stay prayed up
